Good Xbox Controller Settings
I was playing F1 casually. But I decided to push forward so I can enjoy the game better. I used to play with automatic gearbox and low brake assist. I switched breaking assist off and tried couple of circuits. It is fine but I don't feel I have enough control over brake and steer. I feel like I only brake hard or light, like there is no medium level. Same thing with the steer. Do you guys have any suggestions to get the best feeling on the car? I use default configs.

If you want the best feeling, buy a steering wheel.
I bought one recently too and its great too have one!

When I was in your position I increased linearity of steering, brakes and throttle as I tended to input too much. Over time I reduced and then stopped doing it barring 3 on the steering so it isn't twitchy doing subtle corrections on straights. So, playing with linearity might help.

That advice is obviously controller (XBox 360) and me specific. I recently tried a very expensive XBOne controller and, for me, the triggers were horribly without resistance so knowing how much I was inputting was much harder despite the trigger rumbles.

Have fun :)

pretty sure the braking on default is pretty fine not to slow as it costs time and not to fast to fk tires i gues u can try changing the car settings a bit i gues that will help

but for the steerin u cant rly change in the settings atleast when i try some patches ago
u just have to deal with holding ur stick up and only be able to use 30degree angles and if u wanna steer fast from left ore right to down

the steering is just a bit fked on the controller cuz u can only use 30 degree ish of ur controller b4 u reach the max turning point already takes a few races gettin used to but its still okish

hope it helps ya a bit
also make sure u run a good car setup if u wanna steer more or less :)

Yep, that's the real solution, but I don't want to spend much for just casual racing. Thanks for the advice anyway.

I will try both of your advises. After training without a braking assist last night, my only problem is the wheel locks. My wheels lock at almost every corner, but that's probably because of me. Thanks for both of your advises again.
