Game is stuck on Flashback/Replay screen on PC

None of the keyboard keys work when i'm on the replay screen. The only way is Alt+F4 and is frustrating. Is there anyone who can help with this issue?

I've had this issue repeatedly over the current and previous editions of Codies F1 games.
Other posts have suggested making sure all the controls are mapped, so I've done that, but still it gets stuck in the same place.

I go to instant replay, and watch the replay, but the escape key doesn't return me to the race. I also try the enter key and pause key to no avail.

I can enter photo mode, and use the escape key to get out of that while in the replay, but can't use the same escape key to get back to racing!

Hello. Same here. Any solution fors that? There is either a very bad camera function in that game or there is some secret about the keyboard mapping that I dont understand.

If the car had a vital part of the engine-gear-electronics,etc fatally damaged and dead, no way to utlise flashback, mid-save to recover. Only option in this situation: end session.

Well, I can not end anything. The ESC-button is just not working when I am in the replay. Its just not possible to go out of the replay. Only Strg+Alt+End is possible.

Hi all, I had the exact same problem scottie.03 and what i figured out was , in my case anyway, the game had configured the buttons on my wheel to the controls in flashback menu.

If you are running a wheel with multiple buttons try them one by one and write down which ones work in the flashback menu.

Thats how i sorted out my problem being stuck in the flashback menu screen and having to close the game to get out.

Hope this helps somebody,as it wont help everyone sadly.

While your in your flashback menu, unplug your keyboard, wait for around 5-10 seconds, then plug it back in and see if it works as it should do again, ive had similar problems, doing that worked. Let me know how you go on, all the best.

There is "extra action 1" button in steering menu - this is responsible for flashback and it is not assigned for non standard scheme like e.g. wheel. You can check it in keyboard scheme 1 or 2 - there is "extra action button 1 -- F1" So just select the "extra action 1" and assign it as you want.
