ERS management practice program
Hi, I have a g29 and managing the ERS is not really easy for me, in fact i play with auto ERS, but with the practice program you have to manage it manually. How do you do it with a g29 having to move your hands away from the wheel to change the erogation?

You control the MFD (Multi Function Display) with the D-Pad, which should be in reach of your left hand and thumb. It should be somewhat manageable even in corners, but it doesn't have to necessarily. Just switch the ERS on straights; it's completely suffice to get purple in that practice program.

Just start with ERS on low in low-speed areas of a sector, switch to medium on high-speed areas. If you still don't manage to get purple, drive on low the whole time until you a) run out of time/delta or b) you have a good buffer of purple and can comfortably use a higher mode.

Never use 'high' unless you way inside purple and need that extra boost to get a negative delta in order to pass that program.

You can map these to different keys on the wheel.
I have ERS mapped to the +/- keys (left side below the D-Pad) & fuel mix to the rotation knob.
So I dont have to go trough menus changing stuff when driving.

D-PAD left and right to ERS lower and higher, D-PAD up and down for fuel from lean to rich is what i use.

FWIW, I mapped my ERS keys to LSB and RSB (L3 and R3 on yours) so it's really easy to find without looking and without hitting other keys.
