No one need better graphics too but . . .

check via benchmark options ingame (set a track and rain conditions is a good idea), adjust levels until you are happy with frame rate versus IQ
I personally always game with vsync on (any threat pf page tearing drives me mad) but i benchmark with vsync off so i can see the max frame rate the card can handle, if its over 60fps i start upping detail levels in options and retest.
then i enable vsync again, but tbh with a 7700k and a 1080ti FE i just set everything at ultra even at 4K HDR in Dx11 and see 60fps all day long.
try direct x 12 mode, if it runs on your card/windows os it should use more of your cpu cores, failing that drop to direct x 11.
