Performance Update Patch

I know, i know...but based on when this has come in previous years do we have any idea of when this is coming?

I know Mather said "a bit later" or something, but its stopping me from starting a career mode.

Im going to be McLaren and their perf is way underdone in the game, and seeing Willams battling the midfield etc - wouldnt feel right to start my journey with such inaccuracies in car performance.

Anyone else holding off for this to start their careers?

Its bloody frustrating its not out yet - why they would be leave their 2019 game with 2018 performance levels baffles me.

Yea, I'm also waiting for perfomance patch and something is telling me we can have it tomorrow. Friday-end of the week and probably they are not working at the weekends so Friday or next week :(

Yes @Kondacek but my "bit later" could be a few days, his "bit later" could be 3 weeks.

last game i believe it took quite a bit of time before they did it so dont get your hopes up. does kind of feel meh atm seeing mclaren underperform , williams seriously overperform. same with Haas which im playing as. after 5 races im easily best of the rest with quite a gap to renault. it will hurt my soul when my performance gets that massive drop :D

2018 it was about 2 weeks till first performance patch, and seeing how 2019 released earlier, i wont be surprised if we are going to need to wait longer...
Tbh, Im not that excited that the game came out earlier, as i still end up just waiting for a patch to actually play the career
Rather have em release the game later, and more polished than it is in its current state.

Im keeping busy with online races and with friends but yeah, itching to get deep into a career mode but theres no way ill do that with some "off" car performances.

Hoping its not ages away, the season is nearing halfway in real life already.

I am in exactly the same boat. I have no enthusiasm to play a slow Mclaren that suddenly jumps in performance nor a Haas with a massive drop. Although why Mcl and Toro Rosso are slower than a William's in the first place is incomprehensible to me. It wasn't like that in pre season testing, nor even in 2018, but it's even reflected in the achievements. Williams are a "Contender".

How can they even call it F1 2019 when the performance bears no resemblance to RL?

Thank god some people actually do the job codemasters are too lazy to.

But sadly you'll find out that codemasters are clueless in the way they do things, the more you play the more stupid it gets.

The R&D upgrades are stupid af, the driver changes are also done by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The AI upgrades too quick, and in stupid ways, like any low tier team can become the fastest car on the grid in matter of few races..

Changements of every drivers to different teams, including top tier drivers going to low tier teams.. At the end of each season everyone changes team... they really don't know how to make a good game, simple as that.

Driver changements are cool if it's not being abused and dumb like it currently is.
Of course we all know that codemasters, masters of money grab won't tweak that feature until F1 2020 in order to grab more money next year and ♥♥♥♥...
