Unplayable fuel problems

When I'm running in rich fuel, I'm using about 200% the fuel I should be, when I'm running in normal fuel, I'm using about 150% the fuel I should be and when I'm running in lean fuel, I'm using one laps worth of fuel to get round and when I lift and coast to save fuel, at best, I'm saving less than 0.05 laps per lap and loosing seconds per lap.

I don't know if I need to do the fuel saving test in practice different or what but nothing seems to be working.

FYI. It's giving me the option to take 28 laps of fuel when it's a 14 lap race. The minimum amount of laps I coukd take was 17.

that is the problem when you do the race strategyprogramm in practice with "rich" mix ... don´t do this and you have no problem

I do that program in lean to try and save the engine so it's probably that. I try the next race in normal and hopefully that'll do it.

Yes, it calculates your race fuel load according to the amount of fuel you used in practice. If you run lean, it messes it up.

Stop drinking that fuel ;) . It works perfectly so it is based on fuel practice calculations so drive that training as you will drive your race. Best thing if you drive all 5 laps 4 laps normal mix and 1 rich mix lap.

You can adjust your Fuel capacity while on the grid.

I never had a issue with fuel and I drive like Max, P1 all the time, I make my own run maps and this is my first F1 game, lmao, even in China as I take my time, 1 GP set per day, 100% Race, I changed my fuel map on the drive .

dont use Lean in race strategy programme. This thing happens in previous game aswell, its really annoying. F1 2017 did it fine...

When you run your Race Strat in practice drive in normal fuel mode and drive as you would in the race. If you run low revs and/or lift coast you will burn less fuel. Even ERS plays into this as you use less fuel on High ERS and you use more fuel when running low ERS. This all factors into the race strat.

End of story run your race strat in practice just as you intend to drive in the race on normal fuel mode.
