Hey,

I've been playing F1 2018 for a while now and purchased 2019 aswell. In 2018, you could create an online championship, invite your friends and save it afterwards. The next day you can simply load it again, everyone has the correct points and you don't have to start over.

I've been unable to save a specific championship in 2019, am I missing something or isn't it in the 2019 version?

Thanks,
Einschtein

I think the league replaces that. I created a league for my friend and myself. Haven't gotten around to playing it yet but it seems to be the same thing. I enabled tracking AI points standings and you get to set all the same features (tracks, AI level, rules, etc.)

Yeah id like to know that to, you can create a championship in unrated and add all the tracks, even set it to 100% races (just like in 2018), it even saves after, But i don't see the point if you can't go back to it, your not going to do all that in 1 sitting are you!

My friend set up a league for us. You can pick to do them on a schedule or on demand. So you don't have to do the entire season in one sitting.

As Crusty says, you can do it via privat league, set on demand.
But you cant restart a session. For example if you all wanna repeat just the race cause you crashed in the beginning... than you have to start from training 1 again.
Also you cant set the car performance to realistic in league mode (only equal).

Playing unranked mode is actually better, but it does not save any progress. So you have to write down the points after each race

Leagues can't disable the AI.
Leagues can't change the weather.
Leagues can't restart the race if someone's computer crashes/disconnects.

Leagues can't use F1 cars unless difficulty is set to equal.

In other words there is no way to play a coop F1 championship.

You can play the MP cars on equal or the F1 cars on equal but if you were a group of friends who used different car performance to balance player ability, tough luck.

I do not understand codemasters taking out things that worked well. Just enable all the options in all the modes, how hard is that?

Have fun :)

I love the new Leagues and will use it and yes I know its the new way to play multiplayer.
BUT!... you can't use it like you could before...

I totally agree with Shia Luck, it was nice to play the F1 championship in coop with realistic cars. You could play with mates against the f1 drivers of today, if 1 mate was alot better he could have a handycap by being in a slower car, change the weather, restart a session or race, all the extra little things like that.

The really strange thing I find and don't understand is that its all still there in the game like before but with no save, that's all that's missing, Allow saves and its back again. I don't see the point putting it in and allowing you to set up a whole season if it don't save. :steamfacepalm:
