Even with these changes, it works very inconsistently. Sometimes I get trigger rumble, other times when I restart the game, the rumble just disappears and I get only the normal controller vibration
Try updating to the latest Steam-beta. That solves the problem ;)
Any solutions yet?
Using a XBox One Wireless Controller for Windows
Rumble Trigger probably won't work over bluetooth, unless you have the official xbox one wireless adapter. Have you tried with the wired connection?
Currently what works consistently for me is if I plug in my controller before starting steam. I've noticed the trigger rumble is flaky if steam is already running and the controller is plugged in later.
1. As some threads said above, turn off the Steam Controller settings.
2. Right click the game and go to 'Properties'
3. in 'General - Steam Input Per-Game Setting' choose 'Forced Off'
This should help solve the problem. I'm currently running fine in both DX11 and DX12 ver.
Note that I'm not using the wireless controller, but I haven't checked if it can work on wireless.
Good luck~
