radio output device cannot be changed
hi, I have an issue with the communication with my mechanics. Somewhy during game when I push the button I can see the sign its prohibited, so I cannot voicechat only manually with Jeff.
Checked the audo settings and I can see the radio output device is on auto, and I cannot change it, I cannot select my headset.
In steam my headset is setup and works also I can use it discord, skype...etc everywhere else.
(its an asus rog orion pro, worked perfectly in f1 2018 and previous codies games)

I fixed this for myself. Go to the F1 2019 directory and look in the 'installers' directory. Install the x64_speechplatformruntime.msi installer, if it says it's installed do a repair.

Then run the msspeech_sr_en-in_tele.msi

Finally, run whichever Kinect language pack you think you need. I'm not sure if F1 uses the OS's lanuage or the game's language, so if they're different do both.

It's likely that only one or some of these steps is needed to fix it, but I just did all of them at once. Once I did this radio was working for me, without having to change anything in the in-game settings.

bump.
I'm also having an issue with using my microphone to talk to Jeff while I'm on the track. I used it in 2018, but I can't get it to work in 2019.

I've made sure my headset and mic are setup in windows to start with, the mic works in other apps, it works in multiplayer of F1 2019, but just not when I race and want information from Jeff.

Can anyone suggest a solution? The headset is a HyperX Cloud 2.

Cheers
