Need clerification please. Symbols/sycles

The less Symbols/sycles then better or how they connected?

Cycles is how long the solution takes to run; symbols is how many instructions are used (the 'starts' don't count towards this)

They're just two ways in which you can compare your solutions with others, and lower is indeed better. In general, the least cycles solution won't be the least symbols one, and vice versa.

The scores don't play a real factor in game progression, but it's just fun to optimize one's solutions :) Also, you may discover some techniques that will help you in the later levels.
