stuck at opening

I cant get past the beginning when it asks you to look at the sitting or standing position. I hold trigger and nothing happens, If i look down I can see the cursor thats used as your hand but its just sitting on the ground. every other vr game i played has worked so far, brand new oculus rift S

I had the same issue. I played this game in 2020 with Virtual Desktop and the Quest 2 and now i was stuck at the opening screen (standing vs seated). I tried Steam Link too, but that didnt work.

But i made it work.

At this time, the only way to make it work, for me, is to have the Meta app installed on your computer. In the meta app, you need to add a non meta game manually (look it up on the web, but basically you need to go to the Library, and click the + on the top right). You need to add AccountingPlus.exe from the steam folders in the Meta App. Once you've done that, you need to use either the Oculus Link, or the Air Link. I used the Air Link from the headset, and i launched Accounting Plus in the meta library, and it worked! At this point, the game only works like this for me (i can choose the standing option, and i can use the pointer in game with no issues).

I just installed after getting my meta quest 2 today, Still having the same issue everyone appears to be getting. Appears to only be launching while in desktop view.

Edit: I ended up just refunding the game and getting it on my quest and it worked fine.

The beta lets me continue to the loading screen after choosing standing or sitting. After that the game crashes. I'll hope they'll fix this soon! :/ Sucks to wait for sale and then the game doesn't work. (Pico 4)

Update for Pico 4 users: Use Pico's streaming assistant instead. I know it's worse than Virtual Desktop, but hey! Atleast the game works there! Even without the beta turned on

Hello there. I have the Oculus Rift S and cannot play, even with the beta. The first screen asks to hold the trigger to select sitting/standing and it doesn't work.

So game is not abandoned, they just don't know how to add controls after 5 years. They were right about this game being peak comedy.

It works for all of 5 seconds. I'm now able to select standing up mode, but then Steam VR closes the game, re-opens it back to select mode screen and my arrows are once again locked below me and I can't continue. I'm just gonna refund at this point :/

quest 3, with wireless virtual desktop here running steamvr beta. I launch the non-beta accounting plus and I do not have ingame controls to select sitting/standing. I updated to the beta and when I launch from steam i still don't have ingame controls. I launch accounting plus from virtual desktop game launch menu and I have cursors as hands and can select sitting or standing, it then shows standby but then it will flash something on the screen and steamvr will load accounting plus a 2nd time but this time the controls don't work. I can relaunch through virtual desktop and it keeps doing that same thing. Works for about 30 seconds then reloads and stops working. Please help

Quest 3, Virtual Desktop, same issue. Cannot get past the first selection screen. If I want to refund the game, I have to refund the whole bundle I bought it with. This really sucks.
*Edit* I tried the beta branch, it works for a couple of seconds, then the game restarts itself and breaks again, stuck on the first screen.
Sad.

Same as the two above: Quest 3, VD, beta works until you select seated.
Sad, had a girl over to show Vr and out of the 130 titles I own for VR this is the one I really wanted to show her.
Disappointing~

Bought this for my partner we also are unable to get the controllers to work. Will have to refund the bundle, sadly will not be able to get the deal we originally had through steam :(
