Battery in stroller, what to do?

Anyone else at the part with the battery in the stroller? I'm confused on what to do. If I pick the battery up from the stroller the blob in the corner dissappears and the noises indicate I'm drowning or something and I end up back in the main menu?

When you end up back at the main menu, there's something "wrong" with the level loader, though. Not sure what to do with that (levels seem normal).

I think the level may be broken, You can also walk out of bounds on it but you dont seem to be able to interact with anything there...

Yup, I'm having the same problem. Clearly a bug/broken level. Shame as I was really enjoying my playthrough..

Someone else in the forums is stating this is intended. I'm not so sure since you can clearly walk out of bounds. Devs?

Same thing. It does seem like it's broken, but the PS4 version update is doing the same thing. So either it's consistently broken across all platforms, or we're missing something.

This is intentional, you're supposed to grab the battery and get warped back to the hub. This is a secret route and not meant to be part of the normal playthrough. After you get warped to the hub; thats it! Nothing more to it.

Well I'm glad that lots of other people encountered this. This is obviously really bad game design, the fact you can "continue" the game and it keeps sending you back is totally busted.

I'm still missing three cartridges. Are the empty slots a joke?

The fact that you can teleport out of the designated play area likely means something is broken...

I did notice a hidden cartridge in the menu now. To the right of the basketball near the vr statue. A yellow cartridge that slides away when you get near it. No clue if it's related to this issue though.

For those that are confused: There is only one discoverable cartridge you can find even though there are 3 empty slots at the end.

you find the one by first finishing the game, then go to the credits or first time you are tasked to insert the accounting cartridge in the office area. The door to your right can now be opened which leads to an elevator which leads to a lady that asks you to fix her printer. completing the printer area gets you the cartidge for replaying in the level select.

The other two empty slots are permanently empty and has been hinted at to becomming available in future updates.

there are around 2 secret levels to discover but none of them give you any cartridges to unlock
unfortunately

the cartridge near the basketball hoop is unobtainable. even breaking your boundry or using a playspace mover to try and get to it makes the cartridge slide away from you.

the battery in the crib area is one of the 2 secret areas i mentioned earlier. all it does is purposely bug out and send you to the hub. Its meant to scare and stump you, intentinally looks buggy and messed up

the normal route is to let the bomb explode in the forest fire area, you were meant to let it blow up and not pickup the apple. The apple was meant to be a secret but they made it so easy to access that many stumble into it by complete accident thinking thats what they are meant to be doing.


only other area you can find is by visiting the king of vr ,picking up the cereal box and empty-ing it until a yellow pill falls out. Eat it to transport to another secret level

After starting a new game, the door on the right was unlocked for me, without having to complete the game with the 'normal sequence of events'.

Found this really confusing, wasn't a satisfying or logical end of the game to me.

It's very weird ending up back at the menu after you pick the battery up, even weirder that there's 3 empty cartridges still left in the level select.
