how do I get the update?

I think I backed up v1.0.9 correctly but how do I know for sure? I accidentally started downloading the Beta before I backed it up, but I quickly paused the download and then backed everything up. I'm using Windows 11 btw!

Amazing update! I am having trouble though and now have a menu glitch where multiple wolves pop up on my main menu and I cannot click anything. Any Ideas?

TO GET THE BETA BUILD
1) In the Steam app, go to your Library, then right-click on the WolfQuest: AE name in the left column and choose Properties.
2) Then go to the Betas tab and select the WQ current Beta option in the pulldown. No password is necessary. Steam should then start downloading it. Later you can switch back to the public version in that Betas tab, by selecting NONE in that pulldown.

It is possible to opt into the beta build at any time. All you have to do is follow the instructions given when opening the full announcement panel and that some users have kindly also copy pasted in the thread here.

(You mayy also want to disable cloud syncing.... it may mess it up....)

Steps(Windows)
1.Go to document folder
2.My games
3.Right click on Wolfquest Anniversary
4.Press Copy
5.Press paste (in a different empty area)
6. Name it Wolfquest Anniversary-Backup (When update is fully out, rename it again!)

Steps(MacOS) Same process, instead Wolfquest Anniversary is in your Users Directory!)(Follow windows process just diff directory)
Tips(MacOS)
if you cant find your Users Directory, go to Finder and click the menu on top that says "Go"
Then press preferences, then sidebar.
whichever one has your device name, click that in favorites and then follow the rest of the steps!"

i cant tell if i have cloud syncing on it might not be on. cant find it on my macOs

The saga (which is where your pups become yearlings and then adults) isn't out yet. It won't be out for a while I assume. Just be patient, it'll be worth it.
