When will my wolves disperse?
Hello!
I am about to enter my 3rd generation and still nobody has decided to disperse, is there a certain time or circumstance where they will? I've been waiting for them to disperse so I can play as one and become the leader of a rival pack but i swearrr its taking forever lol

They are more likely to disperse in autumn (but can disperse at any season, just with a lower likelihood). You can’t really control when they disperse, but sometimes they disperse in groups. They are less likely to disperse as yearlings. Currently raising my fourth litter (my first died) and no survivors from my second or third litters have dispersed. I’m guessing some will when fall rolls around.

Wolves generally are at the highest chance to disperse around 2 years old, typically in the autumn and early winter when it's around breeding season.

So around your 3rd litter when subordinates are 2 and will turn 3 next spring is when you might see some start leaving. Growing Pups and Young Hunters quests specifically.

Males are more likely to disperse sooner than females, and females are more likely to stick around for a chance to inherit the pack (wolves trend towards matrilineal lineages), so keeping an eye on your pack and their gender and how often they leave is good testing.

It's random, but I think (just THINK) wolves will disperse if they think they aren't full enough. Honestly, I've had two yearlings disperse, a 3 year old disperse, and 2 wolves age 2
