Curing sick pups?
Was wondering if anyone has advice on healing/curing their sick pups? Like, I know the game says to spend time with them, but what specifically does that mean?? How long should i expect to spend, does keeping them well fed and rested matter? Does it actually count up if I am carrying the pup, or if i am sleeping next to them? Is the sickness proven contagious? So far I don't know answers to any of these things but i would love to hear if the community knows.
I am aware that potentially nothing can cure them, but I want to know where exactly I should focus my efforts to give any sickly pups the best shot possible

If their pawprint is glowing in your HUD then they are getting a boost to their chance of recovery, whether you're sitting next to, carrying, or in the den with them. Sleeping does not provide any real boost, it's more staying close to them in general when you are awake that is more beneficial.

Sickness does not spread from pup to pup iirc, there's just chances for pups to individually become sick based on their own health/genetics etc.

I recommend 20-30 minutes between sleeps with them. I've heard regurgitating food for them (if they are over 15 pounds and eat by themselves) can help? I've never had a pup die from it on easy though. Try moving dens and don't have two black wolves together to prevent it.

Also try stockpiling food near the den in case you cannot hunt.

What I do is turn it to easy hunt and mark the territory really well and if there are Elk and Mule deer fawns/calves I bring a lot of those home then sleep/eat repeat. (I have never head a pup die this way to sickness.)
