Can you move your pack to a different map?

If you're in Hellroaring Mountain, Slough Creek etc. and you're in the young hunters quest, what happens if you lead your pack to the edge of the map (where it asks you if you want to travel to another map)? I'd test this myself but the path to AM from HM is claimed by a rival pack in my game so i'd rather not.

You're free to travel with your pack to whatever map you want, as long as you don't have a homesite.

The only map you can't travel to/from is Lost River, as it is separate from the other maps.

eh? when i tried this i wasn't able to move to slough creek with my full experience yh pup in find a den.

You should be able to move maps when you no longer have a home site (young hunters and find a den are times you absolutely should be able to move). If it's not letting you when you run to the border marker to shift locations, please send a bug report.

Yes, as Lost River is set in a completely different area from the Yellowstone maps.

so even if i finish making them yearlings, if i quote on quote "make a new save" to another map, they wont join me?

Starting a new game with the same player wolf is like starting a new timeline. Your pack won't be with you because they don't exist in that timeline. The only wolf who will is your mate (if you select them while in the New Game menu).

If you want to keep your offspring with you, you have to keep playing the same game, which means staying in Lost River.

If you want to keep your offspring with you, you have to keep playing the same game, which means staying in Lost River.

Last time I checked, you couldn't bring your Lost River mate to any of the Yellowstone maps. You had to get a new one on said maps. Though, I haven't checked this in a long while to see if it had changed.
