do runts put on weight slower?
I hope I don't sound stupid asking this. I had a single-pup litter, and he was 3.3 lbs at birth. I've always had litters over 2, and never really had runts. I don't know if he will put on weight slower, or if he will put on weight faster because he has no competition for food.

Not 100% sure of this, but I believe all pups put on weight at the same speed, so long as they get enough food. Him being a runt simply means he has more pounds to gain, not that he'll gain them slower.

Thanks, that's what I had assumed.

Yeah you can, 1-7 pups is the range you can have. Just depends on the diversity and KK genes of you and your mate. Most players have 4 star mates so I'm not surprised.

And the age of your wolves, As my wolf got older (he is dead now lol, RIP Toes) the number of pups in the litter declined. My diversity rating was 3-4 stars and i think we had 5-6 pups in the first litter(s) then after about age 5-6 we consistently had 4 or less pups.

Not always age. I've seen people be age 6-8 with 7 pups, which leads me to believe it's not age based. So it was probably just your wolves. My wolf was also age 3 and had one pup.. also leads me to believe it's not age related.
