Do seasons change in multiplayer?

So, I have a multiplayer Pack Life game save in the Lost River map (the expanded AE version, not classic) where I chose "summer" as the starting season. I have played on this save for countless hours, sleeping over and over again, trying to see if I can get the season to change to Fall, because I just wanted to see if it eventually would. I got to late summer where there's baby deer and elk calves running around, and the bushes have berries on them, showing that it's presumably supposed to be around the end of summer in the game at this point (probably August). However, I've slept over and over again and still the season hasn't rolled over into Fall. The grass is still green rather than brown, and the trees and bushes are still green. What I want to know is, is it going to be Summer forever in this save file, or is there a functionality for a season change from Summer to Fall in multiplayer already? I'm just curious if anyone knows an answer.

I've only seen it happen once, and I don't remember what game mode it was (No pups, though). Basically, the screen started loading suddenly like it does in singleplayer, and it switched from winter to spring. Pretty cool.
I do not recall if anyone was on the server at the time, but it was multiplayer hosted regardless.

Okay, so the seasons can change in multiplayer without being in the raising pups mode. Good to know. That being said, it changing from winter to spring does not guarantee that it's possible to go from summer to fall. I will continue to try and see if I can get it to go into the fall season in my game file, but I must have slept through several in-game months at this point and it still hasn't rolled over into the Fall season.

I believe that in singleplayer currently, there's no way to progress from summer to fall within the same save file after reaching the endless summer quest at the end of raising pups. I'm guessing that this summertime save file I have is stuck in the same thing as the endless summer mode and will never progress to the next season because there's no functionality for going from summer to fall in the game currently. Either that, or maybe I just have to reload the save file and sleep a few more times to trigger the seasonal transition.

I know you can get to fall if you raise pups for long enough and you can continue to fall in pack life too it just takes a really long time I also believe there was another thread on this a while back and there was dev feedback in there
