Best way to help sick pups survive?
Ever since the saga came out I have not had a single pup survive a sickness, i'm wondering if i'm doing something wrong? Is there something I can do that can increase the chance of survival besides spending time with it?

i don't think so, just select sickness deaths off if you can't handle it.

The only way best way is to spend time with the pup until the games gives a note to do something else, also good luck on sick pups on the growing pups quest. You have a hard choice on feeding all the pups or help the sick pup at the cost of all the other pups dying.

I don't think so. I had 3 pups fall ill during my session yesterday and all three recovered. I only spend time with them until the message that I had done all I could. Then I went on my hunts or patrols before returning and spending time with them again once possible.

The only thing I can think of is difficulty. I play that save on easy, perhaps they survive more then.

aside from spending time if your pup survives the illness is up to luck unless the Kk gene helps improve illness recovery chances but if not you can't do much other than spend time with the pup

It's all luck based. You can spend time with your pup, and Kk pups are more likely to survive, but aside from that you can't do much. The only other thing that can really improve your pups odds, is checking pack info periodically while you sleep. That way you can catch the illness as early as possible, and spend a bit of extra time.

Nothing you can do but spend time with the pup and make sure you don't let them get too hungry.

I haven't turned off pup death only because I'm still working on unlocking coat colors but I think other factors that will help your pup recover (but no guarantee survival) is to make sure they're well fed and well rested. If the wakeful percentage is low try bringing it up with some short sleeps because a pups health will drop kinda fast when sleeping.
So what I try to do is keep them fed at 100%, wait for the note telling me to do something else, sleep to bring up wakeful percentage, wake for feed and note telling me to do something else, short sleep, wake to feed and wait for note, rinse and repeat until the pup recovers or dies. If I must hunt, I try to do it right after the note telling me to do something else.

Keeping them fed is a good idea so they don't starve, causing their health to decrease by both that and the sickness, killing them faster.
However, it is a common misconception that keeping the pup full (100% or something like that) helps them recover from sickness. Hunger and sickness can both kill a pup, and if both affect the pup they will die faster, but hunger does not affect the pup's chances of recovering.
Just wanted to mention because I know some people think keeping the sick pup at 100% hunger helps them recover, when in fact the only way hunger affects sickness is if they start starving or become too sick to eat.

I'm currently on a litter of 7 pups with just me and my mate. We've had 3 sick puppies so far, but the best way to help them recover is to fed them frequenly. Try to keep them at 100% hunger if possible and spend time with them when ever you can. And yes, probably turn sickness death off, especially during growing pups, but I've never had a pup get deathly low on health this litter.... yet.

yesterday i had a pup recover when she was on 4%. was not a fun experience :')
Keep them well fed and spend as much time with them as possible. Do a single sleep when wakefulness reaches 0 instead of two to spend more time with the pup and milk more recovery time.

There's no guarantee that a sick pup will recover when they fall ill. Spending time with them for companionship can boost their chance to pull through, but the only way to 100% guarantee they survive it is to turn RNG sickness off.

My last pack I had all 5 of my pups get sick, but none of them died. I fully boosted Companionship on each one. So if you boost companionship the chance for them to recover must be pretty high.
