Pup changed coat color
I already submitted several bug reports and am posting to see if there might be a temporary fix and if other players are having this issue. Once all my pups reach 20Ib., there is a dream sequence, and then when I wake up, all my pups are the same coat color as my wolf. I've reloaded the save, reloaded previous saves, changed the coat of my wolf - and it's always the same result. My pups are the same coat color as my OG wolf, to the exact pixel and not like a puppy version of that coat either. In the family tree, the pups still have their original coat colors. It's frustrating to me, and I'd like to know if there is a way to fix this like skipping the dream sequence that seemed to be a 20Ib. milestone, fixing a wolfqest in-game file, if the devs are able to give me back the original puppy coats in my save file once they fix it, or if this is just how my file is now?

Pups go through a couple coats differences as you grow them in the new Saga update, so I'm a bit confused about what you mean. You won't see what their proper adult coats will be until a bit later when you enter Growing Pups Quest.

So without screenshots I'm not sure what it is exactly that you are seeing.

Can you describe exactly which coats they are supposed to be or have screenshots of what you're seeing?

When pups reach roughly 20 pounds, they get a coat change. It looks like a bit of a mix between an adult coat and a puppy coat, sometimes it just looks like an exact copy of an adult coat. Sounds like this is what's going on here... unless some were tan or gray, then became black, or something like that.

The family tree won't update for these new coats automatically.

If you can get a screenshot, that may help people know exactly the issue you are running into.

Think it's best to wait for OP to reply and know 100% sure what they mean than try to infer too hard on what info they provided so far. There is always the possibility they are looking at something weird.

Three of my puppies look exactly like my wolf's 715F coat. I update the tree, and the sprites look different from in-game. Now I have such different coats for the three pups. One is the pre-20 pounds coat in the family tree, the other is the upgraded family tree post 20 pounds, and then the actual in game avatar - they're all different. Yet, they're the same wolf.
This is Rosie for best example because she's brown, supposedly. The first picture is her fam tree sprite. Her coat is gentle grey and darker, and in the second is her in-game avatar. the colors of grey and white are sharper and more swirly like wolf 715F.

This is Rosie's original coat pre-20Ib. A huge difference, I don't have to explain. Even if it is not exactly a bug, I'd appreciate a cleaner coat transition in a future update please.

I don't have malware on my computer, but if you can't open it for some reason, please advise. I am not good at filing technology.

Here is my whole pack where everyone looks the same.

UPDATE: I have calmed down now. I got to the Growing Pups stage, and all my pups are still grey, but they are various greys and not the same looking pup since they basically have adult coats now. It was just a absolute shock to me that /several/ small brown-looking pups turned to the exactly same light grey with black swirls that looked exactly like my wolf. I guess it goes back to them all likely being kk genetics no matter whether it's tan, brown, or grey or anything but black. I'm sorry for the fuss, although I do still believe the pup coat transitions could be a little smoother and maybe more variety on the grey scale :)
Thank you for your patience.

It's still worth making a bug report, I think. There are a lot of variations in the 20-25 pound pup coats and for them to all be the exact same is unusual. If it's not a bug, it's pretty rare. I don't think a tan pup should be turning gray, so if that's not a bug then it needs a feedback report anyway.

Maybe it has to do with the low graphics settings? I'm not sure. I've never had a tan pup become gray before.

I made several, and I don't want to burden the devs with more. My point has come across clearly here. Heh, ig I was unlucky. Two pups were grey in the first place, and they only changed for the better. It was just my first three pups who had brown blends/a wildly different grey coat that all turned the same color that messed with me. Thank you for helping me. I do have low graphics settings that run mostly smooth on my computer, but low graphics should not be disrupting basic game functions.

Small pups tend to be a lot browner to blend in with the scenery and then can drastically change in color as they get older, so the dramatic shift isn't unheard of in life.

The game simulates this with some of the pup transition coats, but since there's so many coats it is possible a few of them may not have progression that makes sense. That is worth a feedback report, for anyone that has a pup grow and sees coat changes that don't seem right.
