Steam won"t download the Hellroaring dlc and other updates...

TLdr: Steam won‘t download these DLCs despite me having all the requirements for them (base game and storage space)

I posted this on Reddit as well but here I go hoping i get a response here:)

So im hoping yall have experienced this, as I have never till now

I bought Hellroaring MT dlc and despite the buy being confirmed, having the store and base game Steam simply won‘t download the dlcs or even give me the option to download em…and im so worried and frustrated rn so any help would be great! When I bought the DLCs I clicked install content and figured it would then do so, as Steam usually does that

However now, My WQ Library site says there are DLCs and that they will be installed with the game: despite me already having the base game and I have waited for 30 mins ish for something to happen and nothing, the download manager doesn"t even say the downloads are scheduled

I contacted steam support, but due to backlog of requests, the help won‘t be there for s while im guessing😭

Also i opened the game and though I can play it, it does not recognize the new DLCs or open the download widow

Oh god, what if this happens when Saga comes out :/

Edit: I have now restarted my pc, uninstalled and reinstalled the game ad deleted steams download cache


I can ask for a refund but my bank is slow to process all that, so im hoping to avoid that. Plus Steam may think I have already used it despite it not being installed (visibly for me).

The DLC doesn't need to be download, only unlocked in the game -- so that should be shown on your Account panel in the game, and the map should be available in Setup New Game. Can you submit a bug report on the main menu (press F11)

ooh thank you very much, i thought it needed to download as its a new big map, but this works and is neat, thanks!
