HM: Predator /Prey caller

Has anyone found the preadator/prey caller in Hellroaring mountain yet? and if so could they give me a description on where to find it and answer these questions(I've watched videos on it and it hasn't help at all). I know it spawns in fall during hunting season, but can it spawn at night when hunters aren't shooting? Because thats mainly when I feel safe searching otherwise I'm dead y'know. Does the prey caller have a question mark scent like the collectibles? Because I'm good at living in scent view and don't always have my volume up. Is there times that it WON'T spawn(during the fall I mean) or is it ALWAYS around whether I sleep or not, because I'm wondering if it's a hunters object, if they "move it" when we sleep or something.

Other people i've asked have just been real vague about it, and I'm just real curious...

It is definitely there at night because that's when I found it. It also gives off scent spores that tell you what it is. Apparently it's location varies though so you'll just have to run around in scent view until you find it.

I've been zigzagging the hunting area since yesterday and getting quite sick of it ... does the prey caller really have a scent ? Seems weird I still haven't found it.

Maybe its a bug that you dont have scent pores. Or wind is in wrong direction.

I just found it NW of the hunter camp. It has red question mark scent spores like the collectibles, and it wasn't making any noise
