Lost River probably. I was fascinated by the concept of it's story when i was little, and i'm in love the remade map today. I love any type of post-apocalyptic stuff, so that in the form of a WQ map is so cool. Finding all the traces and clues of what happened it so fun. I also like how you don't HAVE to be around any manmade stuff -- there's still plenty of wild, untouched areas. Also, bringing the ranch into play here was rlly cool.

Lost River.
Back when it was first added there was so much mystery, and it was doubled with the newer version. I'll always have a soft spot for the place and its music because I spent so much time there.

Easily Lost RIver. You can sleep in houses and kill dogs

I like all the maps. They all add something different. Lost River has the fun abandoned human town and dogs and the cattle ranch, Amethyst Mountain has the open land and the river and the tall cliffs and hills. Slough Creek has lots of water, rivers and lakes and flooded areas in the spring. I have yet to get Hellroaring Mountain, but from what I've seen, it is also unique in it's own way, with Wolverines, fast streams, and a dangerous area outside of the park.
But for being the most interesting and different from all the other, Lost River is my favorite too.

Slough Creek. I love hunting beavers, and one of my favorite den sites there is by a whole bunch of beaver trails.

Lost River for sure. I love mysteries, abandoned cities in wilderness, country folk/bluegrass/wild-western style music, the giant open space... basically everything about it. Also I live in the same region Lost River is supposed to be in so it feels very homey to me :)

I know you aren't asking for least favorite map but jesus christ, I hate Slough Creek in the spring with pups because THERE'S SO MUCH FLOODING, the amount of times I had to cross rivers that were flooded just to hunt or mark...eugh.

as for my most favorite map, i wanna say Hellroaring Mountain. I like how there's more human inclusion even if it's not physical, the hunters are a nice touch to it because it's something that's outside of Lost River.

Lost River is another one of my favorites because of the reasons stated above. I just think a fictional map like it is a pretty cool thing to exist, also I'm bias towards the maps that don't have flooding as an issue with pups so...extra brownie points for Hellroaring and Lost!! (Amethyst too)

I love Slough River, especially by McBride Lake. Just like a real animal, I return to "my territory" with every game, claiming the same dens. Even though the rock den by McBride Lake can flood in the early spring, if I start around the corner at the dirt den, I can move to the rock den easily when my dirt den gets too infested with fleas. I love the high meadows above McBride Lake with the many elk herds. Just beautiful!
