Can't pick up skulls?

I am unable to pick up any skulls, antlers, easter eggs. Is there a way to fix the problem?

Do you have a major injury jaw? If you do you can't hold things for more then a second. If not, it's probably a bug that should be mentioned.

No I do not. Everytime I try to pick up anything other than meat it doesn't let me.

If you're doing a long hold of the space bar when the bite symbol shows up, for those objects, and nothing happens then it's a bug. Definitely report it.

Must be a bug. There a way you can submit a bug report in-game. I can't think of any other reason it might be happening.
