Saga questions/sugestions!
Here are some questions i have aboat the upcomeing saga!

Note: i have wathced all of the vids on youtube dont list them here

+--------------------+

1. Will there be an option to not have pups in a year?

Hey if i am gonna have to have at least one pup survive every year i will have like bizilion wolves by the time i am at age 8. Yeah i know some of the yeralings may disperse/die but haveing a year for me to hang with the yearlings and fellow subordinates woud be awesome!

I know that the pasage of time depends on quests so maybe adding side-quest to years i wont have pups woud be nice. for example: "Hunt 15 mule deer", "kill 4 pronghorns", "Socialise with youre pack", etc... I understand taht thease side-quest may make the game way less fun but if you want to do X while doign Y you have to make it Z.

+--------------------+

2. Will there be customisable difuculty?

As a new player i find easy, well too easy and chalangeing too hard. It woud be really cool to have idk togleable certan chlagnges like youre own (player) wolf geting sick or a heatwave makeing prey weaker and give less food or cause fires. It woud be also cool if i coud chage diferent parameters aboat the game like prey damage multyplier, etc and then try it out in a small battle test area to see if tehire the rigth thing for me the player.

+--------------------+

3. Will there be gennetic mutations?

I woud love to see genetic mutations in animals, for example a really really low chance of a white elk calf spawning or one of youre pups being a diferent color.

+--------------------+

4. Will multyplayer have more flexible options?

I usualy see pack RP´s in the multyplayer section and it woud be cool if there woud be in-game roles for RP server. Or a more flexible sleep schedule, in all of multyplayer games sleep is really fingy, Eather the host must sleep or all of teh wolves are forced into sleeping with a fixed skedulal. it coud be fixed by makeing time go fast if at least one player sleeps orrrrrr there coud be an ption to disable the need to sleep in RP serevrs.

+--------------------+

5. Will you be able to join otehr packs as a breeder?

In one of the videos they showed that a breeder of a pack can die, and theire mates becomeing courtable. it woud seem like a natural progresion if you a dispersal coud become teh new breeder of said pack.

+--------------------+

And that are all of the questions i curently have for teh saga.
any thougths/ anserws? :Happy_Pup:

Quests like this were in the old game, and are not present in Anniversary Edition. I recall old dev blogs mentioning the team doesn't want to make things too grindy, which these sorts of quests impose, so I don't forsee these types of quests occuring, but I do think it'd be neat if like the baby ungulates quest some side activities will pop up on occasion to give variety while playing year to year.

2. The game currently doesn't have super deep customizability for difficulty settings like this. I know they mentioned a new upcoming option regarding pup sickness regardless of difficulty, but since each difficulty setting is more or less tuned to invoke specific experiences I'm not really sure we'll ever have a huge amount of flexibility. Especially since the game appears to be running a simulation to replicate conditions in Yellowstone National Park to a certain degree.

3. There's a leucistic elk in one of the herds in the Hellroaring Map DLC, so I don't see it as an impossibility, but I don't personally see it being something where a random chance to run into an animal with a mutation.

Currently in game pups can already grow up to have some of the modifier sliders that are based on genetic mutations (the short tail), and all black wolves in the game are melanistic. So that's kind of already existing in the game. Devs have said no albinos though, so I don't see the Saga really expanding on this much at all.

4. This is another thing we will have to wait for further development blogs for. We don't have information on how saga in multiplayer will be. Gotta be patient with this one.

5. Another thing we don't have information about. We'll have to wait and see if a devblog comes along that covers the topic, or try it out ourselves once the Saga is released.

I doubt 1 will happen, however they will make it so even if all your pups die you can keep playing the year, instead of having to restart.
As for 2, I don't think there will be a completely customisable difficulty, although people have asked for it before. However, they will make it so you can choose that pups can/can't die from sickness, and they already have it so you can choose if you mate dies or not, so that is kind of customizible.
I feel like they said 3 won't happen, but in the new Hellroaring Mountain DLC map there is a white elk in one of the herds.
I don't know about 4, the game makers usually talk about single-player in their updates so I'm unsure what they have planned for it.
And I believe they have already said 5 won't happen, so the only pack you will belong to is the pack you create.
That's all I know. Hope it helps. Other people may know more then I do.

Sorry. It's not hidden in anyway in-game and people have been talking about it a lot, so I assumed there was no need.
