How do you take a screenshot and view it?
Hey I am having trouble taking and viewing my screenshots on WolfQuest 3. I pressed 'shift + p' then hit the space bar when I wanted to take a picture. However when I went to go view my screenshots, there was nothing there. I have been doing this for so long. Do you know if I will ever be able to see those screenshots again? How do you take screenshots? How do you view your own screenshots? How do you post screenshots on the community tab? Please help.

Screenshots taken using WolfQuest's photo mode (default shift+P -> spacebar) are saved to Documents/My Games/Wolf Quest Anniversary/User Files/Screenshots/ on Windows, or (YourUserDirectory)/WolfQuest Anniversary/User Files/Screenshots on Mac.

Screenshots taken through Steam (default f12) are accessed through the Steam client from the top left menu View -> Screenshots.

Ty, but I figured it out. Apparently the key F12 was not working on my keyboard so I changed the key for the screenshot button by going onto steam workshop then clicking the button steam at the top left. After that I clicked the settings then the in game button. Then I scrolled down until I saw the screenshot part. But TY!!!

Does anyone know what the path would be for Linux, specifically in desktop mode on Steam Deck? I stopped taking screenshots using the Steam shortcut bc it seemed to be making the crashing issues worse, so I've been taking screenshots using just the in-game camera mode. But even with view hidden files enabled and looking in a variety of places (including browsing local files from steam app during desktop mode), I can't find anything anywhere that would have screenshots saved using the in-game feature.

Thanks for any insight :) I know this is an old thread, but it seems relevant to add to this instead of creating a new one, especially since googling for a solution brought this up in the first few hits. So other Deck users might end up here too.

Actually, I finally found it!! It's so incredibly buried the folder doesn't even pop when searching /bin/ (or anything else I tried) for "screenshots" or "documents" or "wolf", etc. I had to finally just search under / for "wolf" and wait a while, and even then, I only found the folder through the path for a save file that happened to populate.

So here's my path, in case it helps anyone else:

/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/926990/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Wolf Quest Anniversary/User Files/Screenshots
