What happened to white coats on pups?

Since patch v1.0.8d where hares' summer coat was darkened, my white pups in family snapshots and saves became darker. Not just in tinting, they look like their coats got switched. I'm talking about white cream and white mix textures. "Pure white", non-tinted pups are light brown now although their adult versions look the same. Reported it but still nothing.

This question is specifically directed to the devs. Haven't seen anything like that get mentioned... Maybe I'm just unaware.

I also noticed this while double checking which coats are Kk or kk...

I'm going to have to check considering I've gotten a few white pups during my playthrough of the game.

Edit: Just checked. Yeah, no- I definitely have this issue as well. It's a light brown pup and I don't know if its the tinting because I do believe my wolf Ezra doesn't have a brown tint and it's in the middle of the tinting scale. Same thing with my wolf Ashton
Edit 2: Nvm, Ashton does have a darker tint to him but the pup used to have the light tinting possible.

We darkened the white pup coats a bit, to make them a bit more accurate. (Probably we shouldn't have had any white coats in there at all, but had some lingering fondness for the white pup from 2.7.)

I personally do like the white wolves as well, but I LOVE the white spots and markings on the DLC coats! I'm personally hoping we'll see more coats like that in the future. Customization is my weakness. <3

I've put so many hours (like a whole year and a half) into the game trying to get a white pup only to find out it's been patched 😭

White pups still look pretty white, only perhaps blonder, but they've looked that way for a while.
