I was pissed, but it was funny because she died within a 5 minute mate thing with Ashton.
Quote: "I think it was a bug, but towards the end of my previous litter we had moved to a rendezvous and claimed it, there was a mother mule deer right on it though. My mate was very hungry at the time but I was too low on health to try and help her kill the mother. After claiming the site I went just around the edges of it to look for the hidden fawn in the nearby grass patches. I looked back for a second at the mother to make sure I wasn't too far off and what I see is my mate zooming by it (at a very unnatural speed for the game) and it just dropped dead instantly. My mate didn't even do a biting animation or anything, just ran past it. I came up just in time to see that she was already eating it (the food bar was draining crazy fast, mate wasn't even on or beside the corpse, just chomping on the grass a little away where she had stopped). It was gone in 3-4ish seconds upon dying. Mate hadn't lost any health or anything either.
Was told this may be some sort of glitch. Only thing I can think of is time accelerated for my mate for some weird reason after I left the range of the site, even though I could still see it clearly. Strangest thing I've ever seen."
Strange, but amusing, just another thing that made me remember that particular mate.
I've seen this plenty of times but it could be that the mom died by other wolves and the fawn is alone.
So the one time I had easy access to an elk herd, I couldn't have it
Cinder is self-oriented and prideful, I feel as if Sol ( the male she chased for so long ) was determined to strip her of her outer walls and reveal the underlying curiosity and ambition that lies underneath what she presents to the world. Especially seeing as now that they're together, he doesn't let anything remotely dangerous get close.
