Modding Support
Mods extend the lifetime of any game, enrich the players' experience and just give us more freedom in the game oftentimes – sure people can be naughty and make a meme mod or things that aren't intended to be the game's main experience, but avoiding this problem is simple as not downloading these mods. The game is already interesting enough by itself to be enjoyed for a considerably long time by an average player, but at one point, mods will become essential to keep the public's grasp of interest in the game. And especially in a game with such an active roleplay community, that the developers themselves value and recognize, mods begin to become essential. So, will we ever get modding support?

While I agree with you, mods have extended the life of many games for me, WQ isn't finished yet and is still in early access. I think we should wait until the game is finished before thinking about mods

Definitely
I think this would help a lot, especially to make the game a bit more difficult, more realistic, adding more wolf coats perhaps? We'll have to see..(but yes as SolitaryHowl says we need to wait till the game's outta Early Access).

Bethesda games release unfinished and have mod support on day 0.
I miss the days when every gamer was a computer nerd who lived in their mom's basement. Games that didn't ship with map editors and modding tools got their source code leaked or reverse engineered in a week. A whole generation has been raised on DRM and deranged justifications for not making mods and it's hurt games bigly.

Locking due to necro posting (this thread's over two years old).

The developers for WolfQuest have also confirmed that while they agree modding is very cool, there's no plans for modding support for WolfQuest. No special reasons other than that.
