My advice: look the hexagon in the map/under your wolf profile: has color on it? if yes, get the hell out of there, its a pack territory and there is chances of finding the pair of wolves patroling it(or worst the pack wich is 4+). Strong the color, higher the chances of finding wolves.
When you get a mate you have better chances of fighting/fleeing.
Sometimes there is pair of dispersal wolves, if they are the same gender of you, run like there is no tomorrow, because there is no tomorrow if they dont like you.
