What does the true ending mean?
Spoiler alert obviously

Can somebody explain what does the ending and the true ending mean? So there is this white man and this grey man, I feel like they are supposed to represent something? I'm not the best at interpreting these things so can somebody explain what it means to me?

there isn't any, the true ending is a lazy and depressing animation with zero creativity and positivity, literally no meaning and no transcendence from where the game even starts.

I get the first part, but not the second.
The first part is saying that once you escape from being homeless, you just become like the rest of the people who just ignored you while you were homeless.

There are a few shelter dialogues where the character expresses how hurtful it is it see that the people just ignore them like they are nothing.

"They probably have a job, a home, friends too probably. If this happened to them, loved ones would step in, but I have no one.

It's not fair, it's just not fair".

I think they represent souls. The bright, glowing soul represents achievement - beating the circumstance (when you win) and when your avatar walks past the dingy one, that represents some one in the grips of homelessness/ hopelessness. Kind ironic your avatar walks by them like all the pedestrians walked past them earlier. imo anyway.
