Myst IV is now 64-bit support MacOS compatible

We just pushed out an update for Myst IV.

This update brings the game up to date to run on MacOS 13 and later, and Windows 10 and later operating systems.

Earlier MacOS and Windows versions may still run the game, but those operating systems are not Officially supported. Launch times can be very long on unsupported platforms.

Support for the game on these operating systems will be provided as long as possible.

Yay! It now works on my 2019 MacBook Pro / Sonoma 14.7. I was trying to play it on an older Toshiba laptop with Windows 10, but the graphics were horrible, with huge random triangles of solid colour all over the place. Just barely playable.
This is a much better experience.

I did, however have to change my Screenshot key in Steam Preferences to F12 instead of "T". It kept snapping screenshots when I was typing titles of Game Saves.

Yearlynine has Myst IV: Revelation

Windows 11 it still did not work. It would load and the screen would change resolutions but would not load. I would see a blue circle cursor but could not click on anything and the resolution was so big could not see much on my desktop. Used Keyboard to force quit gave through task manager. Tried to change the compatibility mode and still not work. Searched Reddit and found this post for a file to place in the Bin folder.
