Game Save File?

Hi there. I'd like to share my game save file between computers. For the life of me I cannot find the file where Steam and Myst III Exile are installed. Does anyone know how to find the save file? Thanks in advance.

[PS -- Doing "backup and restore" creates too large of a file to share easily between computers. That's why I want to know how to access the game save file itself.]

For me, I found them under;

"C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Myst III Exile"

Seems some older games use a virtual store, though I installed mine from the Game disc so might be different for the steam version.

Saves for Myst 3 are stored in: C:\Users\(username\AppData\Roaming\ResidualVM\Saved games.
Inside that folder you'll find a bunch of .M3S files. (Or very few, if you don't save very often.)

The only reason I found this out was because I knew my Riven save files were backed up from/are stored in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\ScummVM\Saved games, and since I'd seen Myst 3's steamapps folder reference ResidualVM I figured they might be in there. (...\Roaming\ResidualVM\Saved games)

Weird how there wasn't an answer for this anywhere on the web, dude.

And hey, apparently ResidualVM includes a widescreen mod if it's enabled in myst3.ini. So now I have backed up Myst 3 save data and I can play the game with widescreen enabled - which looks, surprisingly good!
