The suggestion I have is to definitivly develop a proper UI for the game... right now it's very problematic.
By UI, I don't only mean a screen with logo and options when launching the game, but most of all, a way to the user to see the jump impulsion he gives to the cake...
One solution would be to replace the system cursor by a sprite (for example a hand), and when the user drags the hand, to draw some line on the screen... (i imagine a foggy line or something like this). Without this, it's very frustrating.
Another point, like I said in another post, is that it needs a way to restart the game from the beginning.
It also lacks a tutorial. I spent 5mn to understand the mechanic, and after that another 5mn to understand that it was possible to draw a line accross the whole screen (I thought that it was needed to drag from the cake).
It's really a pity that your game have a so poor UI (I would say no UI at all, apart these buttons when pressing ESC)... And I say that because your game is not bad at all, the graphics are vey nice (I appreciated the day/night cycle, even if at night it is very dark near the end), the musics are entertaining and the level design is good.
So, It would be great if there was a restart bottom.
I would like to apologize for my poor English.
