Direct sequel?
Hi guys

I wanted to know after all this time, win this be a direct sequel and pick up where the first episode left off or id it set after it?

Could you play this without playing the first episode and still understand for example?

I really enjoyed episode one abs have been waiting a very very long time for this like many others :)

So pleased it's finally here

Hello,

The Uncertain is no longer episodic. You can play every game independet from others.
Light At The End is, if you wish so, the "second part" of three, but it's not split in Episodes, so LQD is not "merging" into LATE.

E.g. you don't need to play TU: Last Quiet Day to understand what's happening in Light At The End.

Thanks for the reply

I thought this might be the case now. I do find it a shame that its changed direction completely but totally understandable with all the changes for this second part.

Still looking forward to it though and hopefully it wont be as long a wait for the final part :)

Yea, the story is in the same "universe" but nothing more. I don't even know why the Devs changed it, it was years ago...

Have fun playing Light At The End!

Many years ago lol

I got the first 'part' on the day it first released and this one has been delayed so much i doubted it would ever actually appear. Nice to see it finally is though :)

Yeah, it took a while! (a very long while ...)

But it's finally there on 8th!

Hoped in a continuation but the idea of the "same universe" intrigues me as well, as long as it's persistent enough. Having parts from different point of view, hopefully we'll see some sort of converging or at least recalling fates in the future, even as a spin off or a bonus content.
Keep it up!

We are trying to show different sides of the world that was formed after the catastrophe and for this it is necessary to show the other side: The surviving humans.

Indeed robots will always be an integral part of The Uncertain. Light At The End is completely "woven" into the general plot of The Uncertain - So nothing to worry about!

More info in our F.A.Q.

It depends on your style. Could be 6, could be more or less.

Lovely :) that's for your reply.

Doesn't really matter how long, just nice to know so I can plan accordingly and play on one session :)

Is the main character of the last game gone from the story line? I invested into the last games story, sounds a little disheartening...

That would require a spoiler but since its not that long of a game ......look bellow if you really need to know.

You meet the robot at the end as you leave everyone behind(you are not even given a choice)
