You have to go a bit right to the connecting mini-bridge of biomass when you return to the previous ground, where is the weakspot to the ladder. Yes, no jump, no rush to go through it. After the bots are close to you, then you can cross safely, and in this positioning they will not have to jump to their death.
after destroying the mini-nests to then break through the Squidge, I normally have my back towards the wall to watch my Bot teammate and see if they still fall off and kill themselves anyway.
so with that said, this is one of the few maps in the game (with "The Crossing" in a close 2nd place) where a "Group Hug" and/or a "Hell Can Wait" burn card is an "ABSOLUTE MUST"!!!!
and speaking of the other map, "The Crossing", I can see not only those 2 already mentioned burn cards being used, but also "Slippery When Wet" as the 3rd one, and maybe "Extra Padding" (or a "Quick Item/Defensive/Offensive" card) being used as a 4th card during a full 4-man team session.
Yes, the walls, closer to the wall, to the right. The only connecting point, where you don't have to jump to go to the big single weakspot and early ladder is your safe way, but it has to be done slowly, carefully and slightly leaning on the right, waiting for bots to position before you go through it. And watching for those damn tallboys and exploders for the whole map.
There are not other such glitch-dangerous maps. The crossing can be catastrophic if there are tallboys or exploders to displace you or if you aren't aware, otherwise the water isn't risky.
