https://back4blood.fandom.com/wiki/Active_cards
(see "The following 15 cards..." and "When a player joins an ongoing Mission" rows)
When you join somebody elses game for the first time, for that chapter in which you joined, you can only take over bots, therefore you can only have the deck of the bot you took over, or the deck of the player that was playing before he left. Then as soon as the chapter finishes, and the game loads in the next chapter, you can select a character and a deck, which will then stay with you for as long as you play in the campaign you joined. Hope this clears things up.
Thanks for the info, But that's weird, I played games like outriders and the division and i didn't see weird things like this when joining games... So devs they have to fix this, It's so annoying...And they have to let us to select a cleaner before jumping in to the game whatever in the beginning or mid-mission.
