Is back 4 blood worth playing again?

So I've watched a video saying that back 4 blood has improved over the years and that it's a better game now, But is it really worth playing in 2025? Let me know.

Absolutely worth playing except not at full price. The game isn't entirely well polished if you care about the details a lot (coming from l4d2), but the characters have a good variety, good customisation. The decks system and corruption cards (which I like the most) give more replayability and element of surprise in higher difficulties.

Matchmaking far as I know it's fine, haven't tried swarm mode (pvp), but in general a lot of new players recently, and it takes 1-7 mins depending on on the map and difficulty you choose.

In the end, I'd say give it a go when it's on sale. Cost around 5 quid with all the dlcs.

I bought it on winter sale after not playing it for 2 years. I enjoyed it back then and like it even more now.

I haven't taken it back online yet, just doing some meme achievements and unlocking cards in solo and have been having allot of fun with it.

It's always been good. Only downside is in exchange for more content compared to the games first few years of the release it seems like they made the game a bit easier to cater towards noobs/mercy mains.

If you already have it, sure, may as well just to try it out. I don't think it's added much longevity to the game, but at least you get to see how they finished up the game.

To be honest, I feel like there's better options out there if you're looking for horde shooters. Since the Devs stopped supporting the game I don't think it's really worth the investment anymore.
