How to get bots to pick up yellow items?

I've just started the game and I'm playing exclusively with bots. I'm on the second mission. I'm carrying the specimen. I saw a duffel bag that seems to also give rewards at the end of the bag. I can't carry both. How do I get a bot to carry the other one?

Drop the bag from your inventory if you already have it ("TAB"), ping it to the bots ("Q") and they will take it. Bots can't pick up samples (containers). So you have to carry containers and ping bags to bots.

Sometimes the yellow items appear in a place where they can't reach them. In that case, pick up the item and drop it someplace they can reach..

except that Bot teammates doesn't always pick up the Duffel Bags, even if you point and ping it to them multiple times. Had this happen quite a few times, sometimes while exploring the Ridden Hives

Good point. I forgot that sometimes they just ignore it.

the thing about duffel bag is if you pick it up for what ever reason it will disable option to pick up for bots by the way , that why they ignore your ping to pick up the moment you touch it

no dude, it's when the Duffel Bag hasn't been picked up yet, and even if you ping it multiple times while it's laying on the ground, they'll still ignore it anyway
