Why this game has mixed reviews?

I think this game is great. Graphics looks awesome, gameplay is good, i don't get it why people don't like it.

Tried it again hoping i was wrong, but honestly i was rather mild in my post above this.

Its like they just trew the sewer contents at the ventilator just to see what sticks, and its from every aspect in the game, that there is just so much different human waste covering the title screen, the menu's, the camp, the game selecting methods, everything inbetween, until you finaly play the game and then you realize, that more then half or even 2/3 of the budget that was reserved for the game itself, went to creating the menu's, camps, characters everything except the gaming moment itself, the zombie wacking.
Everything completely opposite to what LFD was.

I suspect this game was created for microtransactions or just to see what they could make a microtransaction in the future.
I have little hope for b2b 2.

Many peeps like me bought it for the lfd vibe that kinda coulda woulda shoulda, only to be confronted by absolutely nothing like lfd.

I am by far not a troll giving a rats bum about trashing the game or telling others what to like. But here is why i dislike it, and i suspect the same reason goes for many others (the silent no shaking people).
The game is a mess if you compare it to LFD (and if LFD is the sorta game you want).
LFD is a simple jump in, play the game, be amazed by a high quality, almost cinamatic gameplay. With clear objectives. A game that is created so easy for a 4plays coop random group of people to play and at the same time having a very high quality of game in all aspects.
And skill and fun actualy comes from playing the game instead of knowing what a thingie does or what goes where or how to pimp youir gun, or how to look like.

I realy tried this game and god i was shocked from, all the stuff just poluting the screen. The amount of useles stuff you need to do for just playing a game.
As i bought it for just 5 euros or something in a sale, i do see it as 1 of the worst things i bought in like 10 years. And i got some bad stuff.

Again like what you like, but the way i look at this game is that this is a game of quantity vs LFD that is a game of quality. Must be my age, i grew up with games having sjittie graphics but where masterpieces in al other ways (90s to 2k) now its the other way around.

B4B Gunplay is way better and smoother than l4d. There is more variety in gameplay too. More possible playstyles and and ways you can set up games with a party.
L4D is good, if you love it so much just go play it and forget b4b exists.

PvP was played by a minority of the playerbase even in L4D2, so it’s no surprise it wasn’t given that much attention in B4B.

A true bottom of the barrel take. Steam alone has 100k games, you think I'm going to try them all out to see which ones I like? You call out kids, but ironically it's those of us that are no longer kids with time and energy to waste on testing every single game that value others' input. You'll get it one day when you grow up.

And owning a game means nothing. I got a backlog from Steam sales and Epic giveaways that would take me ~1.5 years to clear if I started right now and played all those games back to back to what I consider as "completion".
