no weapons are suppose to not reset if you do a continued run from training (solo). also weapons should carry over from each chapter but not from each act.

This should be addressed further. Sometimes the card that gives your character its abilites does not carry over especially if you change characters. That means playing through the entire act without Doc's Trauma reduction or Mom's extra life.

Still happened before I quit, usually during drop-in co-op. It's really annoying. I actually thought this was a feature because I got an extra amount of cards but I started wondering why I couldn't use field dressing.

I just hate it because it breaks the fiction. I work to upgrade my weapons, and now suddenly magically they're gone! Poof! Into the Ether....sounds like a kludge for balancing a game to me.

yep its one of my gripes for this game. I end an act decked out with epic weapons and legendary attachments only to start the next act and I at some point decided to throw it all away. Basically your reward for going through an act without wiping is that you get to start off weaker in the next act.
