No different to other games in the genre like AFE, L4D, KF2 etc.
Despite what JI06CT3P says you can beat the game on the hardest difficulty with the bots. In some ways its easier than with players, in others its harder - the bots arent very smart but but just having an aimbot makes them better than like 90% of players, but they are really bad on missions where they cant help you do the objs so those ones even sub par team mates are going to help you more.
Beatable with bots on hardest difficulty in a single player and good to have a great and fun experience in single player is a bit different expectations dont you think? I wouldnt reccoment trying to beat this game solo with bots in the hardest way especially when you are a beginner. This kind of pleasure is not for all, isnt it?
Who's saying for a beginner to start on nightmare or no hope? A beginner should start on recruit/veteran to learn to play and unlock stuff.
But once you know how to play those diffs are fine and having higher difficulties gives you something new to learn and work towards and gives you more to do as you streamline and improve your builds and have to develop new strats.
so sad this was not L4D3
