Question about the "Tenderizer" melee weapon.........

whenever I get the urge to do a melee run just for kicks, I often see the Tenderizer drop quite a bit. And because it deals some pretty heavy Explosive Damage on every hit, it kind of reminds me of the alternate heavy attack on the Pulverizer from "Killing Floor 2", which releases explosive novas (making it perfect on Fleshpound takedowns).

and because it deals Explosive Damage, can cards like "Bomb Squad" boost its damage even further??

Unless you have lifesteal it's not quite effective as you may think, cause you will take damage when you use it. Unless you have some DMG mitigation cards to make up for the loss of health upon impact.

to be fair, the only time i'll use the Tenderizer, is whenever i'm playing as Melee Holly, and that's due to both her passive life-leech, and the combination of the "Vanguard" and "Battle Lust" cards. and that's on top of using "EMT Bag" and/or "Antibiotic Ointment", especially when combined together.

but other than that, i'll use either the Bat or the Machete, and that's due to wide sweeps
