Is it better than Dying Light 2 though? I always thought Dead Island 1 sucked because I played Dying Light 1 first and the archaic movement system of being railroaded by 2 foot tall hedge bushes always ruined the experience for me. However, I also think Dying Light 2 is subpar because its poor story telling, which is sad because it has some world class environmental story telling going on at times.

Not at all. B4B is coop game where coop is obligatory. DI2 is singleplayer game where coop is optional. I am playing DI2 now. And coop really sucks here.

I for one love back 4 blood. Literally just remove the ravenous corruption card and it would be almost perfect for me lol. Maybe knock melee down a peg too. That shizz is crazy. Great game.

Same. i think its one of the best co op shooters on the market. Damn shame they pulled it. Could have done with one more season pass. amazin game!

You just named B4B. There's next to no Gameplay variety since the devs nerfed everything outside of mad dashing.
There's no emphasis on team play because the game rewards mad dashing to the end and selfish behavior.
The online play is awful, esp since it looks like they're taking servers offline.

Customization I guess I'll give you because of all the attachments, but most are worthless. Deck customization was nice until every card was nerfed to be slightly similar to one another.

Balancing doesn't mean unplayable and without team work you won't get far. Let's not forget how you're not forced to dash to the end and if you are then most likely you are bad.

You sound like a melee player tbh. Always needs to abuse something or else they can't beat the game.
