6K is more than enough as most people are playing it through game pass/console and probably some at Epic games Store. If you add this all up it has more players than L4D so yeah game is thriving ;)

average players for b4b is at 2172 for the last 30 days.
average players for l4d2 sitting pretty at 34333 for the last 30 days.

b4b has less than 16% of what l4d2 has for players.

that ain't thriving. Steam is not a backwater platform used by the minority. If you wanna tell everyone the other 84% is made up by Epic (widely hated) and gamepass, feel free to drop numbers.

Maybe, but I don't know that for sure, nor do you, not for B4B at least. If we assumed things, we'd get to many magical conclusions out of nowhere.
