saving issues

so recently when ive done some campaigns with a buddy of mine the game seems to not save the game for any part that weve done. im not sure what the problem is but basically we start a game and that part saves. we load up again at a later time and play more and then get to another stopping point and make sure to get into the safe room before leaving to make sure it saves but it just doesnt. we get set back like 4 or 5 sections to when we last stopped the first time. so we are losing lots of progress because the save mechanic is not working for me when we are done after continuing a game. is anyone else having this issue and what can be done here or is this some random glitch im having with this game?

I think you that, before you exit, make sure all your supply lines are showing. I think if you leave before they get generated, it doesn't save correctly and you lose your progress.

But that's just my personal opinion. You definitely need to wait around a few minutes before leaving, though why I'm just guessing.

thing is we do that. i make sure we load in and we even look in the box to see what we may do next time we get on. im just not sure why its not saving it. i could try opening the door and then leave i suppose and see if that works but idk.

its ok. just wish i had an answer because it seems to be a multiplayer bug. ive played on my own and havent had issues like that but when i play with my friend it seems to happen now and then.
