How is the solo now ?

Big sales are on sooooo here I am, aware of many of the issues that mainly concerns multiplayer (hey not every game can be like DRG) but still. How good are the bots now and can I customise them in any way ? And can I get all kind of weapons and upgrades without doing any multiplayer (sorry if it's off topic I don't know much about that gameplay) ? Thank you all for your answers.

The bots are way better than they were:

1. They give you their gold now (About 6 months ago bots would not share their copper, which made corruption cards like Cost of Avarice which reduces your movement speed based on how much copper you carry, a really annoying thing.

2. They have infinite shareable ammo.

3. They now use toolkits and other items.

4. They are really good at clearing hordes, but a slight trouble with mutations/bosses.

5. They use the skins you have on that character rather than just the default like before.

6. They use slightly better cards now

I might have missed some things, been a while since I've played with bots. They make the game easier compared to the special people in quick play.

Sometimes the bots are just standing there, not moving or doing anything despite being attacked by Riddens. That's because they spotted a sleeper and you need to kill it fast.

Other than that, they are strong and good teammates.
I ask them to carry the duffel bags all the time, lol!

DLC is worth it, new characters, new maps, new cards. It adds more to the fun. Act 6 was pretty well made.

Yes, the DLCs are definitely worth it, plus there is 75% discount right now.
I will definitely grab the Ultimate or at least Deluxe edition.

I dont seem to have the ability to start a solo campaign. was going to run through all the new content and start a new game as a solo campaign and the option to do so is not where all of the sites say it should be.

Solo campaign only available in offline mode.
Log out first and select the offline mode in the log-in screen.

Great to know, im still downloading, but solo is all ill probably be playing.

I play solo offline only, there are no inconveniences. The gameplay is fun, the gunplay is good and bots are fine and helping. Just got the season pass since they added more missions to the campaign.

Make sure you ping medical cabinets aggressively when you want bots to heal. They get free infinite uses.
