Easy anti cheat client not active ?

Why when i play online it always end up like that ? i cannot play online with my friend

Same here, can join the lobby but the kicked when starting the map because "anti-cheat client protection is not active (reason 4)".
I could forcefully enter multiplayer map by TaskManager > Service > EasyAntiCheat_EOS right-click then "Start" it. It only last for few minutes until get kicked out again because "you client failed anti_cheat authentication (reason 3)".

Can't do repair because EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe doesn't do anything, just a cmd promp appear in a blink then that's it.

The solutions I have tried are:
- .bat file
- delete EAC folder, including in Program Files(x86) then validate
- sfc /scannow
- disable antivirus and Window defender
- update window
- update Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable both x86 and x64

none of them works and I just give up, not gonna waste my game time for this BS.

yeah, i got this problem too..
The anti-cheat v 1.1.3.0 problem can't be opened, so it can't be fixed.
We hope the DEV fixes it in the next update.

This is happening to my husband and I both now. You don't happen to be located in Indonesia, do you? We are-- and the whole drama with Kominfo and steam being blocked (along with several other sites) for a few days seems to be linked with this for us somehow. Now steam is working for us both, but the anti cheat error always pops up when we try to play online. We've both never experienced issues with this BEFORE Kominfo/Indo government blocked steam... So, not really sure what's going on. I'm an American expat that is going back to America in a few months, so we'll see then if it's still not working by that time if it suddenly works again when I'm in America. But I hope it's fixed before then!

because I have run the game Fall Guys (Easy Anti Cheat) it can be opened and repaired, and the game can be played
while this game (B4B) still can't be opened / re-Repair

Yes, I noticed that the Easy Anti Cheat is indeed working for Fall Guys. My husband told me, and then I noticed that when I looked under Task manager> Services> And there you will find under the "Processes" EasyAntiCheat (which is what B4B uses to run anti cheat) and another one called EasyAntiCheat_EOS (Epic Online Services)-- which is what Fall Guys is using for the Anti Cheat. I noticed the EasyAntiCheat_EOS (Epic Online Services) says "Running", but the other EasyAntiCheat says "stopped" (even when I have B4B open and running). I've tried to do the fix where from there you select "open services">EasyAntiCheat and select "start" but it doesn't work even when B4B is open.. I've tried to open it via the EasyAntiCheat folder in Steam too to repair it, but the window only flashes quickly then disappears. The same thing happens for my husband also. Not sure why the EasyAntiCheat_EOS (Epic Online Services) one works for Fall Guys, but the other EasyAntiCheat one doesn't work for B4B. I know it says in the steam folder when I look at the properties that B4B is incompatible with EasyAntiCheat for some reason now..
I unfortunately don't know enough about this kinda thing to know why. That's just my observations I've made while trying to figure this out.

My complete guess is that B4B may specifically be a game that Indonesia wants to block the online multiplayer/chat functionality of or keep more people from wanting to buy it. That's literally a wild guess from me though. I just see it as a possibility since Kominfo had that whole list of what it didn't want to see in games as it's "reasons" for blocking the sites. They made it very vague saying they'd be regulating things like "contents [that] are considered ‘disturbing public order". As an American expat, I quickly noticed how conservative views are here in government/politics. I know a lot is influenced by the nation being majorly Islamic (nothing wrong with that, just an observation. I'm also muslim, btw). I know from talking with friends here too that government really wants to crack down on things that are haram like gambling, pornography, drugs, etc.. Maybe this is them trying to block some functionality of the game because they think it is too graphic or something? Like I said, that's literally just my guess at this point. I'm probably wrong. I hope it's some other unrelated issue, and that this not working for those of us in Indo is just a temporary coincidence that gets fixed soon.

Well, I hope so, because now (Steam) can be accessed again and we (Indo people) can access it.
and indeed the "Epic Games" platform is still in the PSE registration process and there is still no update from the Kominfo side

I'm so glad everyone can access Steam again at least.
My Origin and PayPal is working again too, and my husband says Apex Legends works for him now again. I just hope all of this goes smoothly so Indonesian people can access everything again soon. It really sucks that these sites got blocked. I know a lot of Indonesian people enjoy gaming, but some also make irl money from gaming (like my husband). Hopefully we can play B4B online again soon!

I can tell you all that it is not an Indo issue,. I am in US and been having this EXACT issue since 6/16/22. Been trying to get it fixed since then as well. Tried it on 3 different computers, no change. I also do not have the repair option on my antcheat files in B4B. IT works just fine on other anticheat games. Just B4B is not working. IT is beyond frustrating.
