stop crying about the card deck system
Just be happy that there is a card deck system or any customization at all, because L4D (the game that everyone praises to high heaven) never had ANY customization, class or card deck features. If you're someone who enjoyed L4D then I never want to hear any whining about B4B's customization features.

The game is closer to being like L4D than it was pre patch.

I don't like L4D.

Turtle Rock cannot leave well enough alone and constantly rebalances and changes fundamental aspects of the game.

The developers seem to hate the fact they made a deck building game. All the patch notes mention the reason for nerfs is because people are using some cards more than others. That's literally the point of deck building, finding the optimal build.

But Turtle Rock doesn't like that some builds are better than others, so they keep changing how the game is played. Nothing is more frustrating than spending hours building and playtesting builds, only for Turtle Rock to suddenly decide that's not how they want you to play their game.

Game was always a L4D knock off with the card system as a gimmick. Stop fooling yourself
Still not L4D.

I like the new card system. Before we were giving an illusion of choice in what cards we used, but most likely ended up being the same for the same situations since you can just stack your deck in order.

I disagree, Pure Chaos as an example could be countered by poultice. It's not something you'd pick outside it but it can help regardless, just that it did more in pure chaos than any other card. There was a strategic choice depending on what you had available. You'd stack your core cards at the top and the situationals but still good in the middle of them.

All the new card system has done is increase trauma.

L4D was a stable game and had immersive mechanics, such a stupid argument to say "because this has something that another game doesn't have, you should be grateful" I'd rather have no card system than one that's completely moronic.

L4D didn't need it or impose ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difficulty mechanics that only exist to soft cap progression

Because L4D was for casuals. B4B is harder so it triggers the baddies.

Maybe in your Veteran runs, people never use that card outside 'Pure Chaos', but 'Poultice' is a core card in almost every healing deck. That card was pretty strong early with the old draw system because it was like upgrading your white bandages to blue with a single card. It also allowed pills to give permanent health points.

'Poultice' combined with 'Amped Up' was all you needed to retrieve health points. The other two were either giving extra lives or trauma recovery.
I only play Nightmare. You have so much healing efficiency you healed people to full with a white bandage making Poultice useless because most of the time you never recovered those 20 HP. As people got hit they also had a lot of trauma so even less chance to get that 20 HP over time off unless someone was actively getting hit during, which if you have a good team they most likely won't.

Do you actually test things out or you do just copy people online?
