Full deck draw
Is there an option to disable it? I just came back to the game to find out the drawing card part is gone. It was great to see that huge improvement from one map to the next because of the cards selected. Now we just have "god powers" from the beginning.

Nope. No way to disable it. I think its much better this way as they added a new No Hope difficulty to help balance it out so you can still find it challenging. You can also find 3 cards in every level to buy for 500 copper to help further boost your deck so there is still very much a sense of getting stronger. The game feels fantastic from the get go this way as opposed to only after halfway through each act :)

you don’t if you play on higher difficulties

There is no way to disable it. Regardless of your thoughts on whether this way is better or worse, this is the way it is now for everyone.

play on nightmare or nohope if you think it's god mode. Let us know how that works out for you.

Playing on higher difficulties is not a solution to OPs issue.
Not having an option here sucks, having more options is always a good thing.
Sorry OP but you cannot disable it, it is being forced on you for no reason.

No, but you can "simulate it"
Start deck with only Copper cards - then buy your cards through each mission.

I'll agree with OP. I felt the game lost a lot when you no longer had cards to look forward to. From a purely deck building stance, it was fun to find the optimal draw path for your deck... at least for me.

Forced for no reason? No it is an improvement to the game. The reason it was improved is because the old mechanics were a drag on the entire class building and playing experience. If you don't like the game then stop playing, and if you stop playing then there is no reason for you to keep coming to this forum.

Sorry to hear your upset about the change OP. Personally, I love the that all cards are drawn now! :D

It lets me play my ‘full build’ for the entire run now, not just the last few levels. :)

Ah yes, criticism is not allowed here. I keep forgetting.
Well feel free to ignore any comment that comes close to criticism and you'll be fine. Otherwise stop telling other people what to do.
The new change is being forced on everyone. Fact.

What you're doing is not criticism, it's whining. Saying "they forced it for no reason!", so i explained to you that there is a reason that the change was made. You're just being a little cry baby about it.

You didn't just explain it, you said I shouldn't complain and just leave.
But that's okay. Seems to be the general mental mindset around here so I don't blame you for it.
I said my piece and agreed with other people. It's not my problem you can't handle that.

Well I can see that there is controversy on this topic. It was not my intention, I just came back to the game from a long hiatus (last time I played no expansion had been released, campaign with progression had just been enabled in offline SP with bots).

I can see that there are no options around the full deck draw. I know that there are advantages as well as disadvantages. They could have left it as optional so each created run would have the option to start with all cards unlocked or not but they must have not wanted to fragment the community around that option.

It is what it is I guess. Preferred the previous structure, but what I really would have preferred above all was possibility for the player to choose.

Problem with an option is that the game is now balanced around full deck draw... though it might be fun, and funny, to try playing with deck draw and with how abusive the game can be now.
